DougR, I remember Guest Luther's rumor as well, from the time of the shooting. I put it down to rumor that might someday evolve into folklore at the time. Then, as now, folk like(d) to pass on an interresting bit of gossip or speculation. Has anyone collected/published any non-dopelore and non-Vietnam War related folklore from the 70's?
