I agree with SRR. I've had problems with flash updates, make sure Firefox is your main browser to download the correct flash. Firefox quite often disables old plugins that no longer work with the latest version,update your plugins (sometimes there are no updates). I've always thrown caution to the wind and updated as available and not had any problems (yet!).
