His name was Lowen and he was a lovely man. I was part of a short-lived band with Lol and Steve and Phil Miller, as (would you believe) Dyble Coxhill and the Miller Brothers or DC and the MBs for slightly short.

We did a small tour of the Netherlands and some university gigs and then went our separate ways, but in that short time I learned a huge amount about freeform improvisation and learned to love it immensely. I had an email from him suggesting we work together again last year, but sadly it didn't happen...
