Not fer sale, mind ya, but I will legalize it to be homegrown and for personal use by whoever wants to grow it...they just won't be able to market it to other folks. That eliminates the money angle...which eliminates the interests of organized crime. Nothin' would change much, except the cops would be able to spend their time doin' somethin' more useful than runnin' around burnin' marijuana crops...the growers could stop bein' paranoid...the criminals would have to find some other way to make their money (like ownin' a casino or a bank)...and the whole situation would calm right down.
Meanwhile, we got another shameful tragedy on our hands with another dead chimp, a victim of apartheid, rank specism, and primate abuse of the most flagrant sort!
Whaddy think most humans would end up like if they was confined indoors or in a cage all their life, treated like "pets", not taken seriously, and not allowed to live a free life under their own jurisdiction? Huh? Whaddya think? They'd break out one day, go a bit nuts, and probably get shot by some panicky police officer, that's what.
NO Chimp is gonna be treated like a "pet" or a prisoner after I get elected, unless it's a Chimp who has broken the law...in which case the usual penalties would apply just like they do with humans.
Equality. That's what the APP is for. If yer against equality, then yer against us, and against everything America stands for....or used to, anyway.
I predict that this latest incident will provoke a massive new wave of public support for the APP.
