Tom was one of the nicest guys I ever met. We spent many an afternoon looking after my children while he got from under Cindys feet and my partner was off doing his thing, late 70's - we talked for hours and played a bit of guitar and sang some,went to a couple of festivals etc, music nights out altogether - such happy days.... my life was improved simply by knowing him, he was full of wisdom. We lost touch when I moved away but we initially met when a few people were trying to set up a folk club in Stockport.... I still think of him often.
