Alex, this sounds like lots of fun, if a little scary. Go for and enjoy the opportunity to share your stuff. Who knows what may come of it.

One thing my band is trying to learn is to read the crowd and not necessarily stick to the set list. Stay flexible and always appear as you are having the time of your life. This will translate out to the listeners.
