Does anyone know if or how these security issues affect Safari on iPad2's? Mine runs ios4 rather than 5 (which I can get if need be) but I'm in the dark about what the situation even IS.

Jeeze, "exclusions"! You'd think that people capable of writing this software would also be capable of putting two & two together. The baby isn't so much being thrown out with the bathwater as drowned in it. The folks at Firefox and Chrome must be grinning like Cheshire cats.
