"I have always thought that Chihuahuas had to be the world's most hyper, overbred, ill-tempered and useless dogs..."

The Chihuahua was bred in a country with very little food to feed the people, much less pet dogs.

Chihuahuas have a few things going for them...

         They don't eat much.

         They make a huge amount of noise and let owners know that people are coming (aka watch dog).

         If they attack, they can't do much more damage that to bite someone's big toe (trust me on that one).
