I have to say, I really love Raffi's singing. His records for grownups left me cold, but his singing on those kids albums is terrific, and the production is also great. Yes, it's annoying to have to listen to this stuff over and over again if you have kids, but Raffi is pretty tolerable!

The kids album that I never ever get tired of is Maria Muldaur's first kids CD, "On the Sunny Side" - the singing is her very best and the production is fantastic with players like Jim Rothermel, David Grisman, Roy Rodgers.

The third favorite (I fear probably long out of print) was Marcy Marxer's kids CD (I forget the name and ours was eventually lost) which came out in the early or mid 1980s, exquisite singing and great playing by Marcy with Cathy Fink and others.

I have a developmentally disabled kid so I listened to these CDs for many, many more years than most folks might.
