Poor you. I agree with music loss being like a divorce/moving house – possibly worse. Unless it's music you've gone off, in which case it isn't – but you don't go off decent music.

As somebody who's moving in the near future, a lot of my music will be a link to the house I've lived in, my parents & neighbours, & the life I've lived nearly from birth. Also, I believe your music taste's formed before you ever get into the relationship with said person you end up divorcing. It's always been there, it's like another relationship (no wonder I'm a bit confused.........)
