You make a well-considered point there, Megan, but I am not talkin' about Chimps marryin' just any human. There are, after all, some humans who rise well above the common benchmark and would make a decent parter for the average ape.

Now...would an ape with any sense marry Mel Gibson? Or Anne Coulter? Would a woman with any sense marry Chacko, the new Boss of the North Side Gorillas? Hell, no! But let's not let our judgement be ruled by the very worst examples of species degeneration that we can drag forth. Let's look to the brightest and best among our respective species to steer our hopes and dreams for the future.
