I was actually playing with my band at Broadstairs Folk Week while it was on, and someone (in the audience!) thankfully had the good manners and good grace to turn the big screen off once we'd started. They put the telly back on once we'd finished, and while we were packing up all I saw was the usual old pop crap, including the band that some people refer to as "four dogs and a blackbird"! (Not me of course. I'm far too politically correct to say such things!)
