I can't imagine how Ryan is going to help Romney. Ryan isn't going to pull over any of the "undecideds" from the middle of the spectrum. His appeal is to the tea party types and folks from the far right. The conservatives were going to vote for Romney anyway for the simple reason that he's not Barack Obama. I don't think it adds anything to the ticket.
