I know - it's a shocker!

I have tomato plants with green toms on right now. England's Summer is slower than yours of course but when ripe, I'll toast some bread and have a cheese free cheese and tomato toastie.

Sounds definitely a bit weird to me, without the cheese, though maybe I'll be converted by my own toms once they ripen? After all my partner never has been into radishes in all the years I've known him, but I swear the sheer crunchy, peppery, juiciness of his own homegrown radishes (at least to hear him speak of it) is quite something!
