It's not because it's called a laptop that I often use it in my lap - it's because I'm a slack-assed sonofabitch who sits on the couch with his feet up half the day and piles, along with the laptop, sandwiches, cups of tea, magazines, books, remotes, babes like the one in the painting (yeah, right!), assorted garments, etc., onto his (that is, my) lap. And I do have that aforementioned fan-try underneath it. I don't know how all this effects my ability to procreate, but that's not a major issue at this point ....
