Pencils too short to save? There's no such beast.

Tear of a 1 inch strip from a piece of A4 paper.
Stick one end to the pencil.
Tightly wind the remainder around the pencil.
Stick the loose end to the layer below.
Gently pull the 'loose' end away from the pencil (forming a tight helix of paper)
Voila,you now have a pencil of useable length!

Repeat for all the stubs you have, using coloured paper, and put on the counter in a container marked 'Crazy Pencils @ 50c'
