Had Hoover taken Keynes advice, rather than ram austerity down the countries throats, the recovery would have begun sooner... FDR not only listened to Keynes but followed his advice... The lone exception is 1937 when the conservatives harassed FDR into austerity and the recovery stalled... Thems are the facts...
