Where are the Labor Day parades, like I walked along side my father in when I was four years old? Like Veterans' Day and Memorial Day, it's just another day for sales. Perhaps it's time again for Unions and Veterans to quietly demonstrate their muscle, perhaps again with parades.

I wonder if the people out fishing or barbecuing today realize that if it wasn't for the Labor Movement they'd be working?
