The implication that "a little honest contrition" might set me "on the right path" is more than somewhat insulting as I have never knowingly strayed from the path of righteousness.

I have found several definitions of the term "jerkface"; none of them are complimentary. This definition is one:

One who abuses his girlfriend, quits his job so he doesn't have to pay child support, bails on his rent, and is an overall douchemonkey
