Thread Name: Lullaby CD for children in need
Subject: Lullaby CD for children in need
We are assembling this now and there might be room for a few more..I promised slots to several people and am not sure I have everyone on my spreadsheet I promised.

Anyway, will be given..first run...to abused girls near where I live..probably followed by abused boys. Even if CD is not complete as I want it I need totally run off by Dec 1.   This has to do with a camp I am involved in.

There will be no royalties, no financial incentive other than you can buy at cost..probably aroun $4 with no royalties..and sell as many as you want for profit or not for profit..there will be something right on cd that says OK to copy so if you don['t believe in that this is not for you.

Purpose is to get into hands of children..foster children, poor children etc. You can get one copy for $10 or so and copy as many as you want. If some get to Bill Gates' kids for free that is OK. Sasha Obama..OK.

WHAT i will need is a very good, preferably professionally recorded lullaby. Has to be pretty, not religious, nothing disturbing...like this is the day we give babies away.. no..

There is no money to do this..you would have to do it yourself withy your own funds, find someone willing to do it for free, use your computer or whatever. A sound engineer will determine the quality, nbot me, because I have very high tolerance for low quality recordings...static etc. Doesn't bother me a bit.

I think we are leaning already to songs in Gaelic..have two in Irish and I think one coming up in Scotts andmaybe one in Manx. That is fine. I think I have SPanish and Russian covered. One in Japanese for the tsunami children would be nice. pROBABLY ave German covered as well.

Sound engineer will like wav I think but you can send me an MP3 to mgarvey@wsu.edu

DOn't get feelings hurt if it doesn't get on because I have already promised a num ber of people and if they can get stuff to me in time they have first dibs.

If you have one already on CD that is easiest for all concerned. Remember,no royalties.
