If you visit Dorchester in the Summer, and enter the beautiful Borough Gardens, there are oftimes musicians playing concerts, children playing in the fountain, all kind of fun going on.

Above the park is a shady tree lined terrace. Some weekends there sre craft stalls, and food stalls, all kinds of ethnic and world products and local delicacies like Blue Vinny Cheese.

On the opposite side of the terrace is a large imposing house of grey stone, where lived one of the magistrates who condemned the Tolpuddle Martyrs to transportation.
