Lovely cool morning after rain last night.

I haven't been able to get Zeke to stop digging up the yard in an area where I walk so I'm going to do some more brick work today and fill in that area. I'll have to be careful not to cut into the intact turf beyond the edge of my brick because he seems to see the exposed dirt as an invitation to excavate.

Had a lovely talk with Susie today. She and her granddaughter are in Syracuse, NY, to put her late husband's ashes, and the ashes of their last chocolate lab, Jack, into the family plot. It's a good trip for a large measure of closure after the last long, strange year.
