Jones went off to Blackpool for a weekend by the sea.
He booked his rooms and toddled off, as happy as could be.
He never took the name or number, why he never stopped to think
The only thing he noticed was, the plant pot it was pink.
In the window of the house where he was staying
So to himself the poor man kept on saying,

"I'm looking for a window with a pink plant pot.
Can't remember if the house was number two or one
It's a nice little place. I shall know it in a minute
'Cause they've got that pale pink plant pot with an aspidistra in it.
They told me when I left in case the number I forgot
To look out for the window with the pink plant pot."
