I wasn't aware of this organization until about 1/2 hour ago. Learned of it via an ACLU posting to my facebook wall. (First time that has happened - I occasionally contribute small sums to the ACLU and may have "liked" them on facebook at some point in time. Either I did not subscribe, or they don't waste their time or mine on silly stuff, gratuitous publicity and fund-raising.) In any event, the facebook post was about a video and discussion that will be put up tomorrow discussing "Law & Disorder" and The Constitution Project is a co-sponsor.
As I look around the website and also google more, sounds like this is really an important, non-partisan think tank and resource working at addressing, exploring, debating and working at providing thoughtful perspectives and discussion among varying thoughtful perspectives in search of that constantly shifting balance among the imperatives of civil liberty, safety and national security among our USA democratic institutions, in light of our constitution.
Anyone here really knowledgeable about their work?
