thing is, Bobert, if I had titled this thread "Obama, the Imperial Presidency" or "Romney, the Man who would be king" or "Legacy of the Bushites" this thread would be 30 posts long by now, most of them not really worth reading except as a barometer of uninformed, knee-jerk opinion.

Too much attention is paid to the personalities of politics and not enough on what is happening, regardless of the "who" in our political processes, to what has occurred and is occurring at an accelerated rate,to the constitutionally mandated separation of powers among our institutions of government.

Senator Byrd, although it took him a while, came to an exquisite understanding of the importance of this. The lines are increasingly blurred.
