Things need to be kept in perspective... The Founding Fathers lived in a much different time... Might of fact, Supreme Cort Justice Clarence Thomas said this week that the framers had no idea that the rights found in the Constitution would one day apply to black people... That alone tells us that Jefferson was correct in his thinking that we would need to revisit the entire package every 20 years or so...

We are currently in need of a major revisiting if we are going to get back to the principles of democracy...

Thus, any discussion void of personalities and on substance and ideas is long overdue...
