Just wanted to let Mudcatters know that my son Ken Schatz -- known to many of you as half of the NexTradition and a fine singer of shanties, works songs and other good stuff -- is featured as the "Announcer" (and several other voices) in a new cartoon series called "Sheep in the Big City." The show is premiering this Friday evening, Nov. 17, at 9:30 p.m. on the Cartoon Network. The series has already gotten excellent reviews, including a "Critic's Choice" piece in the New York Times (8/18/00). It is being compared to "Rocky and Bullwinkle" -- Fun and silly to appeal to kids, with lots of wry humor for adults. Hope you'll check it out!
