Regardless, there is some culpability on OUR part for not being aware, or at least, being in a state of heightened security. Where that breakdown occurred, is only speculation at this point....However, (as in the military or corporate structures), when something goes wrong, which includes oversight, the responsibility goes all the way UP the chain of command, as to who screwed up.
Obviously, at least, one can safely assume it was in the State Department..fair enough??

Any shifting of 'blame' by covering it up, will, of course, get the word 'Gate' attached to it..

Oh yeah, I forgot to specify...that meant OUR State Department...you know, the one under OUR President.....
