I know about half of the alphabet song you are referring to but would also like to know the entire version again as I once knew it.
A is for the apple that hangs upon the tree.

D is for the duck that goes "quack, quack, quack".
E is for the eagle, a mighty bird is he.
F is for the fox as smart as he can be.
G is for the glow worm lighting up most everything.
