I've never been able to work out why more than one cup of non-decaf coffee a day gives me palpitations but I can drink as much cola as I like.

It must mean that it is not just the caffiene that causes the problems, but a combination of chemicals in the coffee that are removed to make it de-caff.

Best coffe I ever tasted was something called "Mr Higgins's Venetian blend" which a friend gave me to try.
