Ldf, you might speed up the process if you are more precise. Songs to sing or to listen to? Must it be folk songs? In English? Which ancient peoples do you think of, and how ancient? Should they have a relationship to ancient Hebrews? (There are many songs about Pharaos, but those I know are either bawdy or related to the Bible.) Would Vikings qualify? Or Native Americans?
