Isn't it funny how things translate! I am in Australian Scouting and just had this song sent to me by an old Scouting friend in the UK who heard it at Summer Camp this year. The last line has seemingly mutated to Einer-Kleiner-Fingle-Fangle-Eckala-Bockala-Jingle-Jangle-Eagle-Spittin-Banana-Eating Bird!

I will see what Australian kids make of it at our Camp fire next month!
