As a song interpreter, I find his voice irritating, not as good as the women sopranos that are notable. It's true he has a freak voice but his interpretations leave me cold.
A beautiful sound (if this musical saw is) is not the only qualification for being a good singer, which involves a meaningful interpretation of the songs.
