I thought I had suggested that this thread does serve a useful purpose by identifying a specific new scam that it may be helpful for people to know about. There are too many such for us to track them all, but when one of them affects one of us it's helpful to spread some awareness.

I don't have any real objection to "Latest New Nigerian Scam Thats Not Nigerian" threads that have popped up here fairly often, if that's what people want to talk about; but I did intend to warn that being the frequent originator of such threads could suggest to spammers/scammers that you were "close to being susceptible" and could put you on one of their lists for contact. (You don't have to be caught to be annoyed.)
