Got this from Sandy Paton---1959---on his old LP for Electra "The Many Sides of Sandy Paton". Sandy never liked this album very much, although I always thought it was a great recording. More than 30 years later he was visiting us in Illinois and I got him to sign it for me. (Didn't want to, but he did.)This record contains the FIRST recording of "Wild Mountain Thyme" on the American folk scene. They made Sandy cut a verse 'cause it would've been too long for radio play.
