Not wishing to play the archaeological pedant but - Atlantis...??!! HMMMMMM! *BG* But it's not my era (the excuse of the non-committal historian), although we should remember that with 21st century condescension we often view the civilisations who have lived before us as being far more basic and far less intelligence, when in actuality they just worked things out in different ways and what they lacked in technology they made up for in skill.
