I've been to Hell and back. It's just past The Washout at the back of Partridge Flats. Ya go north to the east turn and pick a trail northwest through the woods, listen for the beaver dam and cross it. There is a HUGE alder swamp on the other side that is absolutely LOADED with partridge... and blow-down bog spruce. It's Hell, even for a teenager.
