I'd been tipped off about them by former member Richard Bartram, who went on to form String Jam which featured Mike Piggot on violin (he went on to do a lot of work with Ralph McTell). These days Richard is concentrating on making beautiful guitars, mandolins and bouzoukis - although many of us would like to hear him play more.
