I saw Cheney and his wife on TV last night and, man, do I get annoyed by the certainty that Republicans have about things. Everything is so clear to the Republican mind - black and white. It's a mind set that leads to solutions to problems like Alexander's untieing of the Gordian knot.

It's too bad some people can't deal with the ambiguities of life without trying to deny that they exist.
