Jeri! I would love to eliminate a few mice in any way at all. We tried that sign trick with the cockroaches 40 years ago. Actually, an "Ode to the Cockroaches" was posted on the kitchen wall of our low-end Montreal flat. It was fun but I think we just got more - who came to read it?
I feel recuperated today for the first time since early Sept. Detoxed Sunday night and Monday aft. Then I started feeling like doing things.
Beautiful Day in the country. R went off to the city and I have been on line since 10. The heat is on in the studio and it is time.... to have lunch and then go see what I can accomplish today. Need to get to work on that huge pile of clay! A couple of the test glazes I made last week are quite nice and a couple are nice and unusual. I have a couple new ideas to work on in that dept. And kiln shelves need to be cleaned and coated. 1. Make pots so they can be drying then, if the energy holds, clean shelves, mix a couple more test glazes.
Black beans are in the slow cooker for my basic soup/dip. I'll go to the city tonight and have soup for when R comes home, if he manages that before I am asleep.
Trees out front are mostly nude but the beech, which I love, and the red oak (rare here) are gorgeous. Every morning the view is different.
