We (Darlington Mummers) were looking at The Coventry Carol and could not understand the last verse.

Then woe is me, poor Child, for Thee,
And ever mourn and say; (some versions sigh or pray instead of say)
For Thy parting, nor say nor sing,
By, by, lully, lullay.

Any ideas please?
