"That's all I can stands, I can't stands no more!"

I love Mudcat but like anything you care about it can be REALLY ANNOYING at times.

We've all seen it happen. In the middle of an interesting thread that the participants seem to be taking seriously, one of the resident "wits" makes a "clever" remark. Another "wit" responds in the same frivolous vein. They toss the ball back and forth a few times and yet another "wit" joins, AND THEY'RE OFF. Fifteen off-topic responses later they look around and wonder where everybody is.

Since the resident wits are long-established, revered, and respected MEMBERS, what can a mere GUEST do? Except complain in a new thread, or course.
