Sending all my love to Elaine and the family.
I am so very sad to hear this as yesterday I found out that Terry was very ill and was going to try and see him as soon as I could.

I met Terry in 1971 when he went to see Hartley Morris and decided to start a morris side, and so started Headcorn Morris and Headcorn Folk Club and without Terry all the off shoots of Morris sides and singers that evolved from those early days would probably never
have happened.

He had a wonderful sense of humour and touched everyone he met with his love and fantastic sense of fun and twinkle in his eye.
He was a renowned painting and instument restorer,he had been rebuilding my mandoline since 1975 and whenever I saw him always said he had picked it up "last week" !

Bless you Terry, the world will be a sadder place without you,but the folk band up in heaven has gained a bass player without equal!

with love Wendy x
