How is our Pennsylvania contingent doing? Michelle? Susan? And those further north and east? Sins, Jeri, Linn, Tami, etc? And did Michigan get clobbered?

I've been thinking about my old stomping grounds in Manhattan and Brooklyn. I'm guessing my favorite Chinese restaurant on Mott St (in the basement) is gone for the time being, I know my subway station at South Street (through the Brooklyn Battery tunnel) is full of water up to the ceiling, and probably some of my favorite features of the Bowling Green area, Fraunces Tavern, the Custom House, the Post Office, as well as Federal Hall (the national monument kitty-corner from the NY Stock Exchange on Wall St.) are all sodden. And Ellis Island, a few feet above sea level with a sea wall all around, and the same at Liberty Island (I hope the NPS employees evacuated) and Governor's Island, must be closed. Castle Clinton, at Battery Park, and the historic fire station next to it, all a mess. A lot of decluttering ahead.
