Seems that every year we make applesauce right about now and so today was that day... Glad to have it over but we have a White Mountain peeler/slicer/corer which makes quick work of it...

Every year we go to out favorite orchard, Paugh's Orchard outside of New Markey, Va. and pick a mix of apples and while we were on our Virginia trip we stopped by and bought a bushel... Pa Paugh and Ma Paugh charge one price for all the different variates so we just mix 'um all up and seems to work...

Anyone else make applesauce???
