The logical extension would be to have an arrangement ike a direct debit or a standing order, so you would register a permanent vote for one side which would continue until you cancelled it.

How about all those early voters for Romney who now might be thinking it wasn't such a good idea as they watch events unroll during the storm disaster? Or of course any early Obama voters who might now wish they'd gone the other way and that they'd voted instead for a man who wanted to get rid of FEMA and who ridiculed the idea that there might be anything to worry about in "climate change".
