Day four of no power and the town tree crews and the electric companies are having a hard time coordinating to get wires turned off so that roads can be safely cleared.

The lines for gas are over 5 blocks long and I confess to a bit of envy when I drive by neighbors whose power is restored. 50% of the town is still out, but it is a strange patchwork quilt at night of lights and dark patches.

They electric company website estimates we will have power a week from today! The temps are predicted to go down to 29 F tomorrow night. BRRRRRR
