The latest report from Staten Island, one of the worst hit places in the Sandy Storm, is that they have received sufficient shirts, pants, skirts, and such, but are now requesting:

      "PLEASE SEND US SOME SKIVIES!!!!"

(The mayor actually called them "undergarments.")

I've looked through my supply, but I guess for elders like me we'd need a waiver on "railroad tracks," but for any of our friends for whom the plea is applicable other arrangements might be made.
