I watched it on tv until 3am GMT before I finally went to bed. At that time Obama was starting to pull ahead, but the result was still all to play for. I woke just before 6am, turned the radio on and got the voice of Mitt Romney making a speech. 'Oh God', thinks I. 'He's won. Then I heard him say something like "It would have been nice to have been president", let out a great YEEEEEAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!! and went back to sleep.
