Tom and I have two anniversaries -- our wedding anniversary on June 26th and our "Other Anniversary" on December 15th.

Our Other Anniversary is the double anniversary of the night we met (at a Fishtraks recording studio's pre-Christmas client party) and the night a year later while celebrating the fact that we had known each other for a year, we found ourselves planning our wedding. (Nope. Tom never actually ASKED me to marry him.)

It's a convenient date to eat some nice appetizers, drink some celebratory champagne and trim the tree. Or at least get it set up. Or at least have it purchased and on the porch.
